Sheep Esports – LoL – Worlds 2025: Swiss Stage Draw Round 3

Either T1 or Gen.G will be at 1-2 on Saturday

The Round 2 of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025 just concluded on Thursday. We now move into the high-stakes portion of the tournament, as four teams stand at 2–0 and four at 0–2. Among them, two will qualify for the quarterfinals this Friday, October 17, while two will be eliminated on Sunday, October 19.

Matches are drawn at the end of each round, with no rematches allowed. Sixteen teams still remain in contention. Friday and Sunday matches will be best-of-three, while Saturday matches will be best-of-one.

The LEC against the wall

CTBC Flying Oyster vs Anyone’s Legend

KT Rolster vs Top Esports

1-1 matchups

G2 Esports vs BiliBili Gaming

Team Secret Whales vs FlyQuest

100 Thieves vs Hanwha Life Esports

0-2 matchups

Movistar KOI vs Fnatic

A revenge and a classic

Saturday’s best-of-one games promise to be thrilling. G2 Esports meet Bilibili Gaming in the Swiss Stage for the third consecutive year, though fortunately for the LEC kings, this time it won’t be an elimination match. Meanwhile, the classic Gen.G vs T1 clash will push one of the two Korean powerhouses to a 1–2 record by the end of the day.

On Sunday, two teams will bow out of Worlds 2025 among Vivo Keyd Stars, PSG Talon, and the two remaining European representatives. Fnatic and Movistar KOI will face off in China to decide which of them returns home, guaranteeing that at least one European team will finish 0–3 once again this year.
