A talented superstar is set to arrive in Hockeytown on Sunday, as the Edmonton Oilers, led by their captain, Connor McDavid, prepare to face the Detroit Red Wings.
Fans in Hockeytown are trying to manage expectations after a string of excellent performances. After the team lost its season opener to the Montreal Canadiens, the Red Wings have managed to reel off three straight wins, beating the Toronto Maple Leafs twice before knocking off the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers on Wednesday night and picking up an overtime win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday.
