Cade Cunningham speaks Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, after the Pistons’ 104-103 win over the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena.
The Detroit Pistons are on a roll, looking to win their fifth straight game.
But if you’re looking for the next Pistons game in the usual places, you won’t be able to find it.
The Pistons (32-10, 1st in East) will host the Houston Rockets (26-15, 4th in West) on Friday, Jan. 23, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The game is scheduled to tip of at 7 p.m. ET and will not be broadcasted on a traditional television network.
Instead, the game will be aired on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service, which means you’ll need a smart device with an internet connection and a Prime membership to watch the game.
The Pistons have won four games in a row, most recently beating the New Orleans Pelicans, 112-104, in New Orleans on Wednesday, Jan. 21. They have the best record in the Eastern Conference and currently have a 5½ game lead over the second-place Boston Celtics.
Meanwhile, the Rockets have won four of their last five games entering Thursday, most recently with a 111-106 home win over the San Antonio Spurs with five players scoring at least 16 points on the night. The Rockets are led by future Hall-of-Famer Kevin Durant and forward Amen Thompson, the twin brother of Pistons forward Ausar Thompson.
The Pistons and Rockets have matched up one other time this season, a 115-111 Detroit win on Oct. 24 that marked the Pistons’ first win of the 2025-26 season.
