Teacher Arrested for Injury to a Child

(March 6, 2026) The Frisco Police Department has arrested Patricia Kemper, 54, a teacher employed at McSpedden Elementary School, following an investigation into allegations of a physical assault involving a student.

Frisco ISD notified the Frisco Police Department of the assault allegations, and upon receiving the report, the department immediately opened a criminal investigation in coordination with the school district. That investigation ultimately led to Kemper’s arrest.

Kemper has been charged with Injury to a Child, a 3rd degree felony punishable by two to ten years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine. After charges were filed, Kemper turned herself in to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week.

Anyone with information related to this case or similar incidents is urged to contact the Frisco Police Department at (972) 292-6010. Anonymous tips can be submitted by texting FRISCOPD and your tip to 847411 (tip411) or through the Frisco PD app.
