It’s that annoying stretch on the college baseball calendar again. The one where coaches have to sit and wait, fingers crossed, while the MLB Draft decides the fate of their rosters. Texas A&M head coach Michael Earley has never been shy about his frustration with the draft’s timing, and once again he’ll spend the next week or two hoping his top commits actually make it to campus.

The Aggies took a meaningful step forward this season, but the year still ended earlier than anyone in College Station wanted. And now, several early‑round talents are expected to come off the board quickly.
