The Love Island USA season 7 reunion is dropping tonight on Peacock, and a lot is happening in the lead up. Specifically, fans just noticed that winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales are no longer following each other.
Obviously, this comes amid some drama that the couple had previously squashed. In case you missed it: a TikToker accused Bryan of cheating in a now-deleted video, creating chaos in the fandom. But Bryan and Amaya shut down the chatter by posting their own TikTok captioned “When everyone thinks you’re over meanwhile this is us.”
Meanwhile, it looks like Andy Cohen brought up the cheating rumors during the Love Island reunion, and in a clip he can be heard saying “Chris, you were out with Bryan on the night of the alleged cheating.” Bryan the seemingly admits, “I had a lapse in judgment,” but all other context is missing since the clip is edited so he could have been talking about something else entirely.
Back in July, Bryan told Us Weekly that “[Amaya and I] are exclusive and taking steps to [be boyfriend and girlfriend]. We care deeply about each other and we don’t want to rush things. Her happiness is very important. My happiness is very important. We got the love that we got [from fans] because we’re letting things happen naturally instead of doing stuff for the public eye, and we’re gonna continue doing that.”
Meanwhile, Amaya said “This is all the start of it. You’ll definitely be seeing me and Bry Bry.” She also hinted at the reunion, adding “It’s definitely to clear up any air that needs to be cleared up. If things are a mess, we are coming with a broom to get things all tidied up.”
The Love Island USA reunion premieres on Peacock tonight (August 25) at 9 pm ET.
