Despite the clouds, dry weather is anticipated throughout the day, with the sun now setting after 5 p.m. While the sun is setting later, we are currently experiencing our latest sunrises of the year. The reason for this is due to the Earth’s tilt and orbit. We have gained 7 minutes of daylight since the winter solstice on December 21st. By the end of the month, the sun will set close to 5:30 p.m. with the sun rising earlier in the 7 a.m. hour.
