The Miami Dolphins are playing against the Cleveland Browns in what feels like a must-win game, but the team is currently trailing the Browns 17-6 at halftime. To make matters worse, star tight end Darren Waller has suffered a concerning pectoral injury.

Waller emerged as a solid pass catcher, but has been used sparingly. Now, he has suffered a concerning injury.
Per the Dolphins’ official X account, Waller is questionable to return with a pectoral injury. This is horrible news that could further stall Miami’s offense.

Waller came out of retirement to join the Dolphins, and he suffered a hip injury that kept him out for the first three games of the regular season. Following his return, he exploded with 117 yards and four touchdowns.
Oddly enough, the Dolphins were keeping Waller on a snap count. He did start in Week 7 against the Browns, but now he will remain out of the game with the pectoral injury he suffered in the second quarter.
Miami needs to jumpstart their offensive output, as they are being outpaced by the Browns at every turn. Waller would normally provide that, but he has been a non-factor in the game thus far.
The Dolphins have been named as a team to watch regarding a fire sale ahead of the trade deadline, and a win on Sunday would help to prevent that from happening. However, if Miami cannot beat the Browns and they drop to 1-6 on the season, there could be some sweeping changes.
