In Monday’s victory over the Mavericks, Amen Thompson led the way for the Rockets as he recorded 27 points, five rebounds and four assists while Alperen Sengun added 26 points, 11 rebounds and six assists of his own.
Now Houston will try to extend their winning streak to five games as they face off against the Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
On the other side, the Grizzlies enter Wednesday’s game with a 3-5 record after losing to the Detroit Pistons on Monday.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way for Memphis in Monday’s loss with 21 points and four rebounds while Ja Morant ended the game with 18 points, five rebounds and 10 assists after returning from a one-game suspension.
While both teams are looking to pick up a key victory in Wednesday’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Houston has listed Jabari Smith Jr. as questionable due to a right ankle sprain that caused him to miss Monday’s victory over the Mavericks.
If Smith Jr. is sidelined once again, Tari Eason may be in line for a larger role after he replaced Smith Jr. in the starting lineup against Dallas.

The Rockets have also listed Steven Adams as questionable due to left hip flexor tightness and if he is sidelined, Clint Capela and Jeff Green could have increased roles.

Fred VanVleet and Dorian Finney-Smith have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game as they continue to be sidelined to begin the season.
Grizzlies Injury Report, Will Ty Jerome, Zach Edey Play?
On the other side, the Grizzlies also have four players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s contest.

Memphis has ruled out Ty Jerome as he continues to be sidelined due to a calf strain that has caused him to miss the beginning of the season.
Zach Edey, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Brandon Clarke also remain out for Wednesday’s game as they continue to recover from offseason surgeries.
