Kay Adams appeared uncomfortable during a ringside interview with NFL legends Michael Irvin and Brandon Marshall ahead of Jake Paul’s fight with Anthony Joshua in Miami on Friday
Sports TV host Kay Adams seemed to tell NFL icon Michael Irvin to “stop it” during a frenzied ringside interview before Jake Paul’s bout with Anthony Joshua on Friday.
Adams was joined by Ivrin, Brandon Marshall, and Bert Kreischer at the Kaseya Center in Miami, and the foursome will reunite on Christmas Day when Netflix broadcasts an NFL triple-header. On Friday, they were special guests ringside, ahead of a major event on the streaming service.
Despite technical glitches affecting the start of the main card, the broadcast smoothed out as it neared the main event, which saw Paul stopped in brutal fashion by Joshua. However, Adams found herself wedged between Irvin and Marshall during their enthusiastic preview, and she seemed a bit uneasy.

When asked about his feelings leading up to the fight, Irvin was visibly thrilled to be ringside. He then shifted the conversation to college football, revealing that he’d be jetting off from Miami to Texas first thing Saturday morning.
The ex-Dallas Cowboys star, originally drafted from Miami, is set to watch the Hurricanes take on Texas A&M in the College Football Playoffs on Saturday. Irvin’s excitement bubbled over, leaving Adams cramped between the animated NFL legend and Marshall, reports the Express US.
Before sharing her fight prediction—favoring Joshua over Paul—Adams gestured to Irvin and seemed to say “stop it” to the three-time Super Bowl champ. While the NFL stars were clearly having a blast, things are anticipated to be much more professional come December 25.
Adams, who was a key figure in Netflix’s NFL Christmas Day coverage in 2024, is set to reprise her role this year. Despite the anticipation for Netflix’s Christmas Day triple-header, the matchups aren’t as high-profile as the streaming giant might have wished.
The curtain-raiser features the Washington Commanders and the Dallas Cowboys, but it’s not the NFC East showdown fans were initially hoping for. The Commanders, having lost several crucial players to injuries this season, are already out of playoff contention.
The Cowboys, too, are teetering on the edge of elimination, with a less-than-stellar record of 6-7-1. The second game sees an NFC North face-off between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions, both of whom have been eliminated.

The Lions also have a tough road ahead, with the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers ruling the roost in the division. The primetime game pits the Denver Broncos against the Kansas City Chiefs, though the latter has already been knocked out of the playoffs.
While the Broncos are vying for the top spot in the AFC, the Chiefs have been ousted with three games still left to play. Even though tight end Travis Kelce is eager to finish the regular season, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been sidelined for the rest of the year.
