Kayden McDonald, a rising star in college football, continues to refine his skills, showcasing an impressive ability to extricate himself from challenging situations on the field. Initially joining Ohio State as a 4-star recruit in the 2023 class, McDonald had a limited role in his freshman year, spending most of his time on the sidelines. In his sophomore season, he found himself behind Tyleik Williams, who would go on to secure a first-round draft pick. Nonetheless, McDonald steadily contributed to the Buckeyes’ defensive line, participating in all 16 games and amassing 19 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss, along with a pass defended.
