It’s finally Demi Moore’s turn to shine on Landman: the official teaser for season 2 shows how her character, Cami Miller, is preparing to take over the family oil business now that her husband Monty (Jon Hamm from season 1) appears to be out of the picture for good.
The new season is set to premiere November 16 on Paramount+. Returning cast includes Billy Bob Thornton (Tommy), Andy Garcia (Gallino), Ali Larter (Angela), Jacob Loflan (Cooper) and Michelle Randolph (Ainsley). Sam Elliott is joining this year as Tommy’s dear old dad.
With 35 million global streaming viewers for the premiere episode, Landman set new records for Paramount+. Unfortunately, the drama from Taylor Sheridan was snubbed by the Emmys this year, though Thornton did score a Golden Globe nomination for his role as Tommy.
The series is co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace. It’s executive produced by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Wallace, Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay. Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch for Imperative Entertainment, and J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly also executive produce. Tommy Turtle serves as co-executive producer.
The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions. Landman is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
