The 2025 Little League Softball World Series now has its two finalists for Sunday, as Floyds Knobs, Indiana, will take on Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
That game is set for 3 p.m. ET on ABC. But how did we get here?
Let’s recap the two semifinal games from Saturday.
Pennsylvania 4, Oklahoma 0
Reagan Bills has Pennsylvania heading to the championship game.
Pennsylvania’s star pitcher got the scoring on Saturday with an RBI single and pitched another absolute gem, leading her squad to a 4-0 win over Oklahoma.
Pennsylvania added three runs in the fifth inning to provide some insurance. It was more than enough for Bills, who gave up just four hits and a walk in six innings, striking out 10.
“I knew my team was behind me and when (coach) called a change-up, I was going to make it unhittable,” she said on the ESPN broadcast following the win.
Indiana 2, North Carolina 0
It took extra innings, but Indiana is one step away from the title.
Scarlet Renn and Grace Fiore each managed RBI fielder’s choice groundouts in the seventh inning to earn the win.
Indiana’s Briley Mercer out-dueled North Carolina’s Makayla Montgomery in what was an epic showdown between the two pitchers. And because Mercer only threw five innings, she’ll be eligible to pitch in Sunday’s finale.
She was able to do so because Grace Fiore closed out the game, allowing just one hit in her two innings of relief. It was quite the pitching performance from the pair.
