Papa John’s will be giving out free croissant pizza tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 10. Yes, you read that right — croissant pizza. Think yummy, cheesy pizza surrounded by a buttery, flaky, pastry-like crust!
Between 12 and 2 p.m., Papa John’s rewards members will have the opportunity to enjoy this unique pizza-pastry hybrid at select locations, free of charge.
The specific locations offering the complimentary pizza have only been shared directly with Papa John’s rewards members near those stores. However, syracuse.com has learned that the Papa John’s at 2921 James St., Syracuse, NY, is not participating.

First introduced in the United Arab Emirates, this two-hour window will be the first time the chain has ever brought its croissant pizza to the US.
“This exclusive drop is our way of celebrating our Papa Rewards members with something truly special,” said Shivram Vaideeswaran, Senior Vice President of Brand at Papa John’s, in a press release. He continued: “We’re proud to bring together two beloved icons into one craveable, elevated product that reflects our commitment to Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.”
To further celebrate this international debut, Papa John’s will also be giving away a custom, croissant-inspired pizza “hot bag” made by designer KidSuper. Giveaway details will be posted on Papa John’s Instagram account on Sept. 10.
Unfortunately, Papa John’s has not shared any information on when and if the croissant pizza will become a permanent menu item in the US.
