Patricia Altschul is eager to tell her side of many stories. And, thanks to her platform on Southern Charm, she is gearing up to do this very thing in the months that lie ahead. You see, Ms. Pat is about to step up on a stage to meet the masses. And it’s all because of her latest career move, which does not involve the usage of any caftans (at least not yet).
Patricia Altschul will release her memoir later this year
According to the Post and Courier, an arts and entertainment outlet based in Charleston, this Bravo matriarch will soon release her first-ever memoir, Eat, Drink, and Remarry: Memories from a Lifetime of Art, Class, and Southern Charm. To help support (meaning sell) her book, Patricia will also speak at the ninth annual Charleston Literary Festival. This event takes place at the historic Dock Street Theatre in South Carolina. Her appearance date is November 10.
In what organizers are calling “our most ambitious festival yet,” Patricia joins “70 writers and thinkers from around the globe.” And when you look at the posting, there sits her name, listed among the featured authors expected to be in attendance during this festival. Individual tickets, if any of our readers feel interested, start around $30. More information is available on the official website of the Charleston Literary Festival.
As for her memoir, this book arrives at your local bookstore following its release date of November 11. If you want to skip the hassle of putting on hard pants, Amazon has a pre-order button that will likely find you well. In all, her memoir costs under $30. So, early stocking stuffer, anyone?
Southern Charm is now streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
