The Detroit Red Wings wrap up the extended home-and-home with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday afternoon north of the border.
This is the second time in three days that the Original Six franchises have faced off. In Detroit on Saturday night, the Red Wings had a relatively convincing win, coming away with a 6-3 win.

It was a solid win for the Wings. The team certainly had an inauspicious start on home ice, as the team was thumped by the Montreal Canadiens last Thursday. It led to many Hockeytown supporters having an all-too-familiar feeling in their stomachs. However, the win for the rival Maple Leafs could be the type of win that can give a rebuilding team confidence this early in the season.
After getting embarrassed on the road, you cannot expect Toronto not to come out without its best effort on Monday, hoping to get back in the win column on home ice.
