Mel Owens’ search for Mrs. Right on “The Golden Bachelor” season 2 will soon come to an end.

Owens, 66, a former Los Angeles Rams linebacker turned lawyer, is the second lead of “The Golden Bachelor,” entertaining a pool of 23 women hailing from coast to coast.

But who will receive Owens’ final rose? Here’s what the internet is saying. Caution: spoilers and theories ahead.

Who does Mel Owens pick on ‘The Golden Bachelor’?

Steve Carbone, aka “Reality Steve,” a well-known TV and Bachelor Nation blogger, usually releases the names of the winners before the season even begins, but things are bit different this time around.

The Arizona Republic reports that there haven’t been many spoilers about this season of “The Golden Bachelor” due to Reality Steve’s loss of interest in the show and not having a solid source.

However, during the Oct. 15 episode, it was revealed that Owens’ final three are:

  • Cindy Angelcyk, a 60-year-old retired biomedical engineer from Austin, Texas.
  • Debbie Siebers, a 65-year-old fitness professional from Denver.
  • Peg Munson, a 62-year-old retired firefighter and bomb tech from Las Vegas.

The Arizona Republic adds that Siebers has her hometown date at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.

Despite not having many spoilers for “The Golden Bachelor” season 2, Carbone did say on his podcast that he believes Angelcyk and Siebers would be in the final two.

Parade also theorizes that Angelcyk will be in the final two, adding that many fans believe she will win the show.

Who is the Golden Bachelor 2025?

Mel Owens, 66, is a retired NFL player and attorney from Detroit. Owens attended the University of Michigan and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams as the ninth pick in the 1981 NFL Draft.

After retiring from football, Owens moved to California to pursue a career in law, representing clients in sports-related injuries, according to a press release. He shares two sons with his first wife, Fabiana Pimentel, 47.

He was announced as the second-ever “Golden Bachelor” in April. He already faced controversy for comments in which he stated he would eliminate any female contestants from the dating show aged 60 or over. He has since apologized.

“I’m thinking, to me, the age range was 45 to 60,” the ex-linebacker told Glamour. “That’s my age range. I’m thinking that’s the gold years for me.”

Owens said he “apologized to the women on the show.”

Who is Cindy Angelcyk from ‘The Golden Bachelor’?

According to her ABC bio, Angelcyk is a 60-year-old retired biomedical engineer from Austin, Texas, “with gorgeous eyes and a personality to match.”

The mom of three children enjoys hiking, paddleboarding and exploring everything Austin has to offer. Angelcyk’s signature cocktail is a Green Lizard, which she invented, and her superpower is making reservations. She also once dated Chuck Norris and had a grandfather who lived to be 105 years old.

Angelcyk’s bio adds that she isn’t on dating apps and prefers to “look for love in the wild.”
