MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A cold front is moving through the Mid-South tonight bringing out best chance of widespread rain in some time. The front is along bringing the threat for some strong to severe storms as well. The front will leave behind much cooler temperatures to start the week, but a gradual warm up will follow allowing temperatures to warm back into the 90s next week. The front will also leave behind a very dry pattern that will extend through next week .
TONIGHT: Mostly Cloudy with scattered rain and t’storms along with a Northeast wind at 10 to 15 MPH and overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly Cloudy with early morning rain along with a Northeast wind at 5 to 10 MPH and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Clear with a light North wind and overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s.
SUNDAY: Mostly Sunny with highs in the mid 80s and overnight lows in the upper 50s.
NEXT WEEK: Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s and overnight lows near 60. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 along with overnight lows in the mid 60s. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be mostly sunny each day with afternoon highs in the lower 90s and overnight lows in the upper 60s to near 70.
