Beanie Feldstein and her wife, Bonnie-Chance Roberts, are going to be parents!
On May 4, the Booksmart actress revealed on Instagram that she’s pregnant with the couple’s first child.
The happy news comes just two years after Feldstein and Roberts hosted a summer camp-themed wedding in New York in May 2023. The couple met on the set of 2019’s How to Build a Girl — Roberts was a producer, and Feldstein was the film’s leading lady.
Since getting together, Feldstein has been very open about her love for Roberts on social media and during interviews.
“I’m pretty convinced you’re actually made of magic,” the actress wrote on Instagram in honor of Roberts’ 30th birthday in December 2020. “The girl with the warmest heart, the most expansive imagination and the most exceptional brain. i love you so much.”

She’s a producer from England

Roberts, who hails from Liverpool and graduated from Birmingham University in 2013, works in the entertainment industry as a producer.
Per her IMDb page, she has worked on a handful of films and shows, including Mary Queen of Scots, Bridget Jones’s Baby and How to Build a Girl, the latter of which starred Feldstein in the lead role.

During the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival in September, the couple made their red carpet debut together at the premiere of their film How to Build a Girl.
In addition to posing with their costars, Roberts shared a solo photo of her and Feldstein on Instagram, writing, “They say it takes a village to build a girl, and they are right! I am honoured to have been under construction with these mega splendid, superhuman townspeople for some time.”

After announcing their engagement in June 2022, the couple tied the knot in a summer camp-themed wedding on May 20, 2023.
“I grew up going to summer camp for 10 years, and my parents and both sets of my grandparents met at summer camp, so camp is a lineage of love through the generations of my family,” Feldstein told Vogue. “Even though we met in London and fell in love on a film set, to get married at a camp was a truly beautiful emotional homecoming.”
Roberts chose a bridal suit for the ceremony, while Feldstein wore a vintage-style gown.
“It almost feels like they took a dress from a hundred years ago and restored it, and also remarkably modern and fresh. It is modest yet sexy,” the actress told Vogue of her wedding gown.
The event had a celebrity-packed guest list, including Ben Platt, Sarah Paulson, Holland Taylor, Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo and Kaitlyn Dever.
In February 2024, during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Feldstein reflected on the couple’s big day.
“I was so calm,” she recalled. “I just got to look at her and hear her vows, and it was perfect.”

In May 2026, Feldstein and Roberts announced that they’re currently expecting their first child together.
The couple shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Limited Edition Scouse Beanie Baby coming soon!!” alongside a carousel of photos showing Feldstein cradling her growing baby bump.
The sweet snaps also featured a cake decorated with pink bows — seemingly confirming that they’re expecting a girl.
